Patpong Night Market in Bangkok

Patpong Night Market
Bangkok by Night in Angle City of Thailand

Patpong night market is very popular with tourists, but there's no real good reason why. It's got the same combination of souvenirs, fake brand name items and cheap clothes as in any tourist area in the city, but prices are way over the going rate. Bargaining very hard is essential to get a good deal and the touts for the go-go bars that Patpong is most famous for are persistent, annoying and can be aggressive. Patpong is between Silom and Surawong roads, and any taxi driver will know it

Patpong is a redlight district the night market is a great place to wander. You can buy things such as watches, clothes, hats, handbags, DVD's, CD's and the list goes on. Just make sure you bargain.

The main things that seem to be sold here are belts, men's T-shirts, fake Tiffany jewelry and bags.

Starts at 18.00 oclock till midnight I think. You can find EVERYTHING there, clothes, shoes, accessories, watches, paintings, woodcarvings, souvenirs in good prices and dont hesitate to bargain!

What to buy: Handbags, wallets and the like.
Watches.
Clothes
Console games.

What to pay: Around 15 pounds for a very well faked LV.
Don't forget to bargain to death.

How to Get There:
Take the Skytrain to Sala Daeng or the Subway to Silom.
Hours:
Stalls start to open at around 6 p.m. and many stay open until the bars and clubs close at 1 a.m.

Know prices beforehand. Sellers drive hard bargains here and prices are often more expensive than at other markets. Keep looking. Nothing in this market is one of a kind, so if the seller doesn’t have the color or size you want, look elsewhere.

The Patpong Night Market is located in the Silom and Patpong district of Bangkok in the southern part of the city, just east of the Chao Phraya River and south east of China town. The market is not a large area only a long a couple of blocks of Patpong 1 and Patpong 2 Streets and the immediate surrounding areas.

Patpong here is the chance for all to explore and enjoy your night life in big cit of Thailand.
